John Morley dedicated more than three decades of his life to public service and law enforcement. After graduating from East Stroudsburg University in 1992, he began his career with the Northern York County Regional Police Department on May 24, 1993. From the beginning of his service, he demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting his community and supporting his fellow officers.
Throughout his distinguished career, Corporal Morley served in multiple roles that reflected his experience, leadership, and dedication. He worked as a patrol officer, field training officer, detective, fatal accident investigator, and corporal. In each of these positions, he earned the respect of colleagues and community members alike for his professionalism, integrity, and willingness to mentor the next generation of officers.
After 32 years of faithful service, he retired in April 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by commitment, courage, and leadership. His influence continued to be felt even after retirement, as many officers looked back on his guidance and example with gratitude and admiration.
